Barugo, Leyte music conductor Robert Delgado launches choral festival

There is a popular Leyteno musical artist who is making waves in the local Tin Pan Alley of choral singing groups.

His name is Robert Delgado from Barugo, Leyte.

Robert is an accomplished music conductor and arranger.

Delgado is an award-winning musician in the Philippines.

Aside from his studies of Doctor of Philosophy in Music (PhD), Robert is a degree holder of Public Administration.

He is currently a member of the Music Committee of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

What is amazing with Robert is his blazing the trail of organizing all choral groups in the country.

He is the President of the National Association of Filipino Choirs.

As the head of the group, Delgado has embarked in an impressive arts festival called the 2025 Palawan National and International Choir Festival to be held in Puerto Princesa City on August 13-15, 2025 in different locations in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan.

It will coincide with the 2025 Boronyugan Festival, the second time the city will showcase its unique features as a province.

According to Delgado, aside from the national and international competitions, there will be a lot to learn during the fest like an International Choir Conference, Choral Workshop, Choir Masterclass, Fiesta Booths, Festival Kits and Souvenir Program, Special Tours, among other interesting components of the event.
