First impressions never last.

This seems to be the image of actor Baron Geisler even if he has reformed his way for his own sake, primarily.

Baron has, sadly, bore the public's wrath when he was always implicated in a series of squabbles in the past.

He was reported to have been sitting not too well in some instances that led to physical violence with fellow actors Kiko Matos and Ping Medina.

William Matinez's daughter Patrizha Martinez, Yasmin Kurdi, Julia Clarete and Cherry Pie Picache had, in one way or the other, complained of misconduct against him in separate occasions.

And now, this piece of news from Cebu City.

According to reports, Geisler was jailed for a few hours at the Mandaue Police Station for drunkenness and public scandal.

Although Baron hasn't denied the incident, he was bothered at how the news has been blown out of proportion to the point of painting him as a worst person which he isn't.

The award-winning actor accused the reporting of the incident in Mandaue City "irresponsible journalism."

Because of this, Baron sought the help of legal assistance to straighten out things and clear his name.

Entertainment writer Dave Rojo posted on his Facebook wall this item:

"Nakulong daw sandali sa Cebu si Byron Guisler (sic) dahil sa sobrang panggugulo at kalasingan. Fake news daw, press statement ni Byron. Ito ang actor na wala kang marinig na (He was detained for a short time because of creating troubles and drunkenness. According to him, they are fake news. He is an actor whom you don't hear) good news)."

Being praised in his movies as a good actor, though, is a tidings.
