Over four years ago, when Metro Manila and surrounding provinces were placed under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this stretch of the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) near Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City resembled an empty racetrack. Today, however, as economic and social activities return to normal after three years of quarantines and restrictions, so has the problem of traffic returned to plague motorists passing through Metro Manila's most famous thoroughfare.
