All's well that ends well.
Actress and beauty queen Azenirh Briones and her children are now reconciled after months of tension and squabble over inheritance.
Azenith made her first public appearance with members of the entertainment press to announce her reconciliation with her kids.
"I am happier now. Naliwanagan sa wakaa ang mga anak ko sa ginagawa ko sa kanila (Finally, my children were enlightened about the discipline I am.imposing on them)," Briones confided to select members of the entertainment press Monday afternoon in Makati City.
My children thought I was stealing their money and properties when all the while they're theirs. While I'm.still alive, our sharing is 60-40 because what I and their dad and my husband had raised were also mine which is lawful).
"Gusto nila, fifty-fifty. That's not fair. Now, if I am already dead, they're all theirs)," Briones clarified.
In November last year, Briones was reported missing but after a few weeks, a friend of hers said the actress was forcibly, conspiratorially committed to a rehab center in Paranaque City allegedly over drug addiction, an accusation she vehemently denied.
Intermittently, inside the Bridges of Hope (BoH), Azenith and her four kids went through psycho-social sessions which enlightened both parties about their respective situations.
It's good my children and I were able to talk openly. They were enlightened by my strict and disciplinarian way to manage our estate. It's not time yet to distribute their inheritances. What if they go broke, they would still bank on me?)," explained the actress.
"Ngayon, masaya na ako at okey na kami (We're happier now and we're all okay)," she shared.
