‘ASAP’ celebrates 30 years with Grand Homecoming

It was indeed an emotional homecoming day to all the celebrities who were part of ABS-CBN’s long-running Sunday variety show “ASAP.”

It has been a stepping stone to some artists.

And it was a one-of-a-kind world-class entertainment experience as the country’s longest-running variety show celebrated its 30th years of nonstop all-star performances with a grand homecoming of some of the country’s biggest and brightest stars live last Sunday, March 2.

Viewers were able to hear the Birit Queens Angeline Quinto, Jona, Klarisse de Guzman, and Morisette Amon, together with Regine Velasquez.

The much-awaited collaboration and reunion in this anniversary special is the OG heartthrobs Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby.

The “ASAP” experience is not complete without a fantastic opening number from Martin, Gary Valenciano, Regine, Ogie Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Erik Santos, Angeline, Yeng Constantino, Kim Chiu, Darren, Robi Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Janine Gutierrez, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barbers, Kyle Echarri, Lyka Estrella, Marielle Montellano, Carmelle Collado, Sofronio, and Pops Fernandez.

Lead stars of romantic comedy film “My Love Will Make You Disappear” Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino and the trending series “Saving Grace” Julia Montes, Zia Grace, Sam Milby, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, Elisse Joson, Aya Fernandez, PJ Endrinal, Fe delos Reyes, Majoy Apostol, Andrea del Rosario, Emilio, and Eric Fructoso. Also graced the event.

Viewers witnessed electrifying dance performances from Kim, Joshua Garcia, Cristine Reyes, Teacher Georcelle, and ASAP Dance Sirens Loisa Andalio, Chie Filomeno, Anji Salvacion with D’Grind and G-Force. Follow it up with more amazing supahdance performance from Darren, Gab Valenciano, AC Bonifacio, Gela Atayde, Ken San Jose, Georcelle, Loisa, Chie, Anji, Jeremy G., Emilio Daez, Rain Celmar, Robi, Belle, Edward, Maymay, Fyang Smith, JM Ibarra, Jas Dudley Scales, and Kolette Madelo.

Rockoustic heartthrobs Jarren Garcia, Kobie Brown, Luke Alford, Anthony Meneses, and Blackburn also, serenaded viewers followed by a collab of James Reid and Maki.

The melodic voice of Ms Zsa Zsa Padilla rendered a heartwarming tribute for Roberta Flac, who passed away on February 24.

There were also inspirational numbers from Gary, Martin, Regine, Pops, Zsa Zsa, Ogie, Erik, Yeng Angeline Piolo with Jona, Jed Madela, Klarisse, Morissette, Jason Dy, Reiven Umali, Khimo Gumatay, Sofronio, JM Yosures, Marielle Montillano, Carmelle, AC, Kyle, Gela, Ken, Gab, JM, Fyang, Jas, Kolette, Loisa, Anji, Chie, Jarren, Kobie, Luke, Blackburn, Anthony, Joshua, Kim, Robi, James,Maki, Donny, Belle, Darren, Janine, Robi, Edward, and Maymay.
