As the Philippines once again commemorates the 1986 People Power Revolution this month, representatives from various social movements, political parties, the academe, people's organizations, NGOs, artists' groups, and sectoral formations gathered to launch a month-long activity to oppose the move to revise the 1987 Constitution, at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani in Quezon City on Monday, February 5.
The group said they oppose all present attempts to revise the current Constitution by whatever means under the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., whose family was ousted by the 1986 People Power Revolution.
