Another round of rollback for fuel prices

Pump prices of petroleum products are expected to drop for another round on Tuesday, October 04.

Tomorrow, oil companies will implement another rollback on fuel products marking the fifth consecutive week of fuel price cuts.

Oil firms confirmed reducing the per-liter price of diesel and gasoline by ₱0.45, and kerosene by ₱0.85.

The adjustment will take effect at 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 04 for all the oil companies.

In the last week’s rollback, oil companies also cut the per liter prices of diesel by ₱1.25 and gasoline by ₱1.65, and kerosene by ₱1.35.

Based on the data shown by the Department of Energy (DOE), the total price increased for gasoline to ₱14.85, ₱29.40 for diesel, and ₱24.10 for kerosene, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board announced that the fare hikes will take effect today (October 3) as the agency recognized the increase in petroleum prices.
