The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) medical team rushed an American traveler to the hospital after he collapsed at the immigration area of Ninoy Aquino Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Thursday morning.

George Anderson Bingham Jr., received medical attention from the MIAA medical team after experiencing a drop in blood pressure and oxygen levels before being taken to the Makati Medical Center.

The incident occurred after Bingham landed in Manila on a United Airlines flight from San Francisco, California.

The 62-year-old was already at the immigration arrival area when he suddenly collapsed.

The bureau personnel quickly called for medical help to provide first aid for Bingham.

According to reports, United Airlines staff and airline security personnel assisted and accompanied the foreigner to the hospital.

The officers of the Bureau of Immigration and its Border Control Intelligence Unit informed the BI Office of the Commissioner for the proper disposition and protocol involving foreign travelers.
