Alabat is set to receive a P1-billion project from the office of Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, Mayor Ays Canimo announced, adding that more projects and business opportunities are coming to the town.
Camino noted that the P1-billion project will require a Sangguniang Bayan resolution, a program of works, and several other requirements.
The local government will also begin improving the process of exporting coco sugar to other countries, which will help introduce the town’s products to an international market.
“Ang atin pong CocoHub1 at CocoHub2 ay maaari ng muling gamitin ng ating mga coco sugar producer,” the mayor said.
On top of these, Canimo said Quezon Gov. Angelina 'Doktora Helen" Tan and Quezon 4th District Representative Atorni Mike Tan are set to introduce more projects in Alabat.
They are set to visit the town next week to finalize programs for farmers.
Solar panels will also be provided for the town’s buildings.
