Passengers are encouraged to prepare for their travels in advance and coordinate closely with their airlines before heading to the airport.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said passengers who arrive at least three hours before their scheduled flight will contribute to a seamless and efficient travel process during the busy holiday season.

CAAP stated that in support of the Department of Transportation's Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2024, the aviation authority has increased security measures at all 44 CAAP airports nationwide from October 25 to November 10.

CAAP Director General Manuel Antonio Tamayo said that the safety and security of the passengers are the top priorities as Undas 2024 is approaching. "We have implemented a 'no-leave policy' for our staff to maintain the highest standards of safety, reliability, and comfort throughout this busy travel period."

To ensure a seamless travel experience, passengers are encouraged to adhere to regulations by refraining from carrying prohibited items and ensuring their luggage is always supervised.

It is important to note that making any jokes related to bombs is strictly forbidden, as it can lead to major flight disruptions and result in serious legal consequences.

CAAP, in collaboration with the DOTr and local agencies such as the PNP-Aviation Security Unit, Office for Transportation Security, Department of Tourism, Civil Aeronautics Board, and airlines will cooperate to guarantee smooth passenger processing, particularly at check-in counters.

Meanwhile, Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista and other DOTr officials will inspect preparations for Undas at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
