Good news for museum lovers: the National Planetarium reopens this July in time for National Culture Consciousness Week.

AFTER a year of being inaccessible to the public, the National Planetarium reopens this July in time for National Culture Consciousness Week.

Check out exhibitions of the ethno-astronomy of indigenous Filipinos!

Sessions will last for only 30 minutes, and only 20 visitors at a time can be allowed inside the premises.

Unfortunately, the National Planetarium’s theater remains closed.

Of course, the National Planetarium will strictly comply with the health protocols established by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases’ (IATF-EID).

Only visitors ages 15 and above including people with disabilities (PWDs) are allowed to come and visit.

Fully vaccinated senior citizens are also allowed.

Visitors have to have a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or lower, and it will be checked by the Planetarium’s guards.

If you have flu-like symptoms, don’t expect to be let in.

Requirements to go in also include a valid ID that states your birthdate and a filled-out health declaration form.

The Planetarium is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a noon break for disinfecting the premises. (EFO)
