The Swedish furniture maker is currently holding a round of pop-up mall displays around the metro ahead of the opening of the e-commerce store and the physical store this year.

SOON, Filipinos can order their favorite IKEA items online after IKEA Philippines launched their e-commerce website “but with limited capacity.”

“We’re on a drill. Online shopping is on but with limited capacity,” IKEA Philippines announced this week. The online store reached full capacity in just a few hours.

For the lucky few who got to check out their items, IKEA asks for patience as they work out the kinks before their official launch before the year ends.

While the e-commerce store has listed down many of their items, only products with available stock will be listed with the “Add to cart option” and will be available for check out.

An important detail to note is that the website only accepts debit cards, credit cards, and GCash as payment methods.

Delivery fee will also vary on the location and weight of the order.

Truck delivery starts at P550, parcel delivery starts at P170.

Customers from Novaliches in Quezon City, Parañaque City, Taguig City, and Valenzuela City can choose the Click and Collect option for P400.

Many have followed IKEA’s updates like when they received their first batch of shipment in June as well as their search for the first IKEA Ph Magazine cover model.

The Swedish furniture maker is currently holding a round of pop-up mall displays around the metro ahead of the opening of the e-commerce store and the physical store this year.

Their last mall visit was in Mall of Asia, in hopes to “inspire” homeowners to the possibilities of having IKEA furniture in their homes. They have yet to announce their next location.

“This is a showcase of life at home,” said IKEA Pasay City Deputy Store Manager Aileen Prodigalidad said. “It’s like going inside a real home.”

IKEA Philippines’ 5-floor building in Pasay will house two floors of retail, their warehouse, a call center for their e-commerce, a restaurant and a markethall.
