As shoppers rush to purchase gifts for loved ones this coming Christmas season, environmental group Ban Toxics warns the public that some toys, especially made from plastic, could be hazardous to children. In a press briefing this Tuesday, November 26, the group showed certain toys currently sold in the market that have high levels of toxic chemicals. They also urged government agencies and other concerned stakeholders for stronger regulation to ensure that these toxic toys will be banned from the market.
