Members of various militant groups trooped to a gas station in Tomas Morato, Quezon City on Thursday, 28 October 2021 to protest the nine straight weeks of increase in gas prices.
Gasoline and diesel prices have gone up beyond the roofs to as high as P70 or higher per liter prompting jeepney drivers to demand for a raise on basic minimum fare from P 9 to P12 for the first three kilometers.
