The cast and crew of "A Hard Day," one of the entries for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), gamely wave to spectators as their boat speeds down the Pasig River Sunday (December 19).

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), which organizes the yearly film festival, opted for a "fluvial parade" down Pasig River for this year due to restrictions brought by the Covid-19 pandemic and also to avoid heavy traffic usually caused by the parade. This year also marks the return of the MMFF to cinemas after the 2020 festivities were held online due to the pandemic.
