Honor of Kings (HOK) is set to debut its Philippine league in 2025, aiming to expand its reach and foster deeper engagement with the local esports community.
Starting next year, the league will feature two competitive seasons: The Philippine League Spring, launching in April 2025, and The Philippine League Fall, kicking off in August 2025.
"Launching a local league for Honor of Kings aligns perfectly with our mission to create more opportunities for esports athletes in the Philippines while building an inclusive ecosystem. This league offers a platform for Filipino gamers to shine and introduces Honor of Kings to a wider audience," said Angelica Neri, Senior Esports Manager at Level Infinite.
As part of its global expansion, the 2025 HOK esports calendar will open with Season 3 Invitational running from mid-February to mid-March.
The year will continue with regional leagues in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, and the Philippines, alongside major events like Major East, Major West, and The Wild Card Series.
These will culminate in the HOK Midseason Invitational, scheduled to coincide with the Esports World Cup in July and August.
The latter part of the year will focus on the Fall season for local leagues and majors, culminating in the HOK Global Championship, planned between mid-November and December.
Before the 2025 season kicks off, the community will gear up for the HOK Philippine Invitational, featuring top teams like Boom Esports, Blacklist International, Team Eureka, TNT Alpha, and Team Flash PH.
Three additional teams will earn their spots through an open qualifier in December.
