POLICE are hunting down at least three ‘persons of interest’ behind the death of a security guard who was found headless in a parking lot of a car service center in Quezon City on Christmas day.

According to the Quezon City Police District (QPCD), the headless body of 50-year-old Alfredo Valderama Tabing was found sitting down in a guard post in Balintawak, Barangay Apolonio Samson, around 7:50 a.m. on December 25.

As of this writing, the victim’s head has yet to be found.

“Hindi magagawa ng isang tao 'ang pagpugot, lalo na 'yong ginawang karumaldumal na pagpugot ay ginamitan ng isang matalas na bagay,” Quezon City Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit chief Maj. Dondon Llapitan said.
When asked where the victim’s head could have been brought, Llapitan said – "Wala po sa crime scene pero may nakitang patak ng dugo. Ibig sabihin nung ginawa ang krimen, maaaring binitbit yung ulo."

Police have remained mum on the possible motive behind the gruesome incident.
