Starting Monday, November 20, government vehicles (also known as “red-plate” vehicles) will be included in the stricter implementation of the “Bus Lane” policy at EDSA, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced.
MMDA acting chairman Romando Artes stressed that only buses, emergency vehicles, and convoys of the President, Vice President, Senate President, Speaker of the House, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will be allowed at the EDSA Busway. The order comes after MMDA Task Force Special Operations Unit head (TFSOU) Edison “Bong” Nebrija claimed that Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla was apprehended for using the EDSA Busway last Wednesday.
