Even as there is still uncertainty on whether face-to-face classes will be allowed when school reopens in September 13, maintenance workers clean up a classroom that has not seen students for more than a year at the Culiat Elementary School in Quezon City Friday (July 16).

While economists were pushing for partial face-to-face classes, health experts were adamant that blended learning must still be the norm for the coming school year especially with the advent of the more contagious and dangerous Delta variant of coronavirus.(DQ)
