Members of Manila Police District (MPD) carefully check the identities of motorists in a checkpoint they installed along Vito Cruz Street, Malate on dawn Sunday, 9 January 2022.
The policemen told OpinYon that aside from maintaining peace and order, the checkpoint is also in compliance with the Comelec gun ban that started midnight of January 8 and will last throughout the election period until June.
