For his 36th birthday on December 5, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora led the annual “Birthday Bloodletting Program” at the San Juan Gymnasium Saturday, December 2.
The activity was conducted in partnership with various government agencies and the Cardinal Santos Medical Center, where the donated blood will be stored and be given free to San Juaneños who will need a blood transfusion. As a gesture of appreciation, the San Juan City LGU gave away rice packs and canned goods to blood donors.
