OWNERS of parcels and structures in Pasig City stand to get a whopping 15 percent discount in the payment of real property taxes, provided payments are made until December 31, according to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.
For those who would not make it before the end of 2023, the city government is offering a 10 percent discount if payments are made in full before January 31 next year.
Also, a five percent (5%) discount is given for quarterly payment or payments made on or before the following dates, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on holidays:
- March 31, 2024 (1st Quarter)
- June 30, 2024 (2nd Quarter)
- September 30, 2024 (3rd Quarter)
- December 31, 2024 (4th Quarter)
Meanwhile, late settlements of tax dues shall subject the taxpayers to the payment of interest at the rate of two percent (2%) per month on the unpaid amount or a fraction thereof to a maximum of 72 percent (72%) or 36 months until delinquencies have been paid in full.
Recognizing the efficiency of modern-day technology, the city government said that payments may also be made via online (https://payments.pasigcity.gov.ph ) – or at designated satellite offices, to wit:
- Pasig City Hall (Bagong Ilog, Bagong Katipunan, Bambang, Buting, Caniogan, Oranbo,Kalawaan, Malinao, Maybunga, Oranbo, Palatiw, Pinagbuhatan, Pineda, Rosario, Sagad, San Joaquin, San Jose, San Miguel, San Nicolas, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Lucia, Sta. Rosa, Sto. Tomas, and Sumilang
- Ayala Malls The 30th (Kapitolyo, San Antonio, and Ugong)
- City Hall Annex in Barangays Kapitolyo and San Antonio
- Brgy. San Antonio - Brgy. Hall
- Robinsons Metro East (Dela Paz, Manggahan, and Santolan)
The city government however clarified that online payment is not applicable for properties with on hold status, with delinquencies or those under compromise agreement status.
