Uniqlo’s Demon Slayer UT Collection was expected to go on sale this month of August but it seems fans of the Japanese manga series will have to wait to ‘add to cart’.

The launch of one of the popular and most awaited shirt collections from Uniqlo Philippines has been rescheduled, “in light of the recent development of the Covid-19 situation.”

Uniqlo’s Demon Slayer UT Collection was expected to go on sale this month of August but it seems fans of the Japanese manga series will have to wait to ‘add to cart’.

The anime and manga series Demon Slayer has captured the hearts of many Filipino fans. Last December SM Cinema held special screenings of the movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.

The upcoming UT Collection is the second batch of shirts from the Japanese apparel company. The first set of designs were made available last September 2020.

New designs and a set of drawstring bags were teased on the official website last month.

This is not the first time Uniqlo has had to push back the release date due to Covid-19 concerns and safety.

Uniqlo Singapore also had to push back the launch of the first release of the Demon Slayer UT Collection from June to early July back last year.

The official Uniqlo website, Uniqlo.com/ph, recently celebrated its first anniversary with a sale and is offering a free limited edition eco tote bag featuring artwork from Kajo Baldisimo, co-creator of Trese.

The eco bag is free upon a minimum purchase of P5,000 from the website or Uniqlo App until August 13, 2021.
