June is just around the corner.
This sixth month of the year is the season of weddings and romantic unions, here and around the world. As in June Bride, the concept.
Ateliers all over the world are occupied in dreaming and making bridal outfits a reality.
Just like the workshops of famous fashion designers and haute couture exponents Albert Figueras and Erick Valeña which are currently engaged in a lot of matrimonial sartorial creations.
At the moment, Albert and Erick have piles of works to finish before the peak time of June when their brides-and-grooms-to-be are scheduled to walk down the aisle or traverse a garden nuptial ceremony or a Celtic-like wedding.
Recently, to give a bird’s eye view of the master cuts Fugueras and Valeña have done, the couple had joined a gig titled “The Wedding Fair Fashion Show” held at the SM City Bicutan entertainment plaza.
Albert’s model statuesque Ruffa Nava wore a daring royal touch of a Muslim-inspired whitish, grayish and silvery frock whose stones glistened while Erick’s mannequins Jerelleen Rodriguez and John Paul Smith donned not a simple cut of a silky bustier and neo-romantic Barong Tagalog, respectively.
Other participating designers and affiliates on the ground were Clifford Daing, Jerome Campano, Evelyn Guerrero, Dave Ocampo, Albert Fontanilla, Bernard Escaloa, Joan Samar Collection, Ranel Espaldon, Jannette Visser, Edwin Uy, Mcris Delapeña and Albert Fontanilla Atelier Abu Dhabi-Manila while the other models included Jihaynne Hernandez, Billie Hakenson, Rina Maier, Jasmine Maeierhofer-Patrimonio, Tatyana Alexi Austria, Rafael Baquiran, Pauline Abigael Ebora, Aubrey Ambas, Alexa Jayne, Hannah Khayle Iglesia, Esraphelle Beltran, Sirene Sutton and Shannen Manzano.
The show was organized by Philtrade Exhbits of Ignacio Caluyo under the direction of JL Calsas Dahan.
