It has been 10 years since UNIQLO’s global flagship store opened in Tokyo’s Ginza district. According to the company, all 12 floors have been refurbished, and one of the main highlights is the brand new Uniqlo Coffee space on the top floor.

UNIQLO is not just your go-to lifewear clothing line now – it might also be your go-to cafe for your daily caffeine needs.

The Japanese clothing line opened its first café in its 12-floor flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo Sunday (September 19).

UNIQLO now adds coffee to its product lineup along with its various offerings of clothing such as pants, shirts, polo, undergarments, and activewear.

It has been 10 years since UNIQLO’s global flagship store opened in Ginza district. According to the company, all 12 floors have been refurbished, and one of the main highlights is the brand new Uniqlo Coffee space on the top floor.

To celebrate the reopening, Uniqlo Ginza will offer a selection of items created in collaboration with famous stores in the district.

These include a range of T-shirts and bags featuring well-established Ginza shops such as stationery store Kyukyodo, Cafe Paulista, Ginza Kimuraya and Ginza Sembikiya, just to name a few. Uniqlo Ginza will also carry stationery from Itoya, Kyukyodo incense and other household goods.

Customers will be able to purchase the brand’s all-new Uniqlo Original Blend Coffee here, in both hot and iced versions, for a very reasonable 200 yen (P90).

Additionally, there will be other items on the menu as well, like Geisha hand drip coffee and butter cookies from the long-established local pastry shop Ginza West.

One of the design highlights at the renovated Uniqlo Ginza is the Life Wear installations on each and every floor.

The brand’s signature clothing items will be displayed like a museum exhibit. On the tenth floor of the flagship store is a custom-order salon, where customers can get measured for the perfect fitting suit.

There is still no further details on the plans of expanding their coffee line to other UNIQLO flagship stores but we are most certainly patiently waiting for the Philippines’ turn to taste their unique coffee blend.
