Included in the A4 priority group are essential workers from the government and private sector, as well as those belonging to the "informal sector."
In a statement, Sta, Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas said the city government hopes to vaccinate at least 3,000 individuals per day as vaccine supplies arrive from the national government as well as those procured by the private sector.
Arcillas hopes to achieve this target by increasing the number of vaccination sites in Sta. Rosa City from the current eight sites, including a "drive-through" facility at the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital.
Meanwhile, the city is expected to receive the first batch of the AstraZeneca vaccines procured by the local government by July 18. (ONT/With report from Sta. Rosa City Information Office)
