The Sta. Rosa City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) will launch a “Community Plantree” as part of the provincial environment office’s goal of planting one million trees in Laguna province.

As part of celebrations for World Environment Day, the city government of Sta. Rosa will launch a “Community Plantree” program on June 11.

In a Facebook announcement, the Sta. Rosa City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) said the event is part of the provincial environment office’s goal of planting one million trees in Laguna province.

The program is patterned after the “Community Pantries” which sprouted around the Philippines last April. However, in this case, Sta. Rosa’s residents can get plant seedlings according to the needs of their family or community.

The full details of the activity will be announced later. (ONT)
