Six Delta variant patients in San Pablo City already ‘recovered’

Although declared as already recovered, all residents near the reported cases are still under close monitoring by the San Pablo CHO, as they are now considered as close contacts.

THE six reported new cases of the more transmissible Covid-19 Delta variant in San Pablo City have already recovered, the city government announced.

In a press statement, the San Pablo City Health Office said the six reported cases have already completed their 14-day quarantine and are currently asymptomatic.

Three of the cases were located in Barangay Sta. Monica, while one each was traced in the barangays of San Gabriel, San Gregorio at I-B.

All residents near the reported cases are under close monitoring by the CHO, as they are now considered as close contacts.

The city government of San Pablo has reported 21 new cases of Covid-19 in July 25, while an additional 17 cases were reported on July 26.

The City of San Pablo, to date, has reported 4,694 confirmed and 175 active cases, with 4,350 recoveries and 169 fatalities.

Meanwhile, San Pablo City Mayor Loreto Amante said the city government is mulling granular lockdowns inside their barangays if additional cases of the Delta variant are reported.
