SOCIAL media have their own way of conveying news and bits and pieces about the world and its people.
Just look at the current situation of former twosome Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes who just recently called it quits without them revealing a single detail about the breakup.
It all started when netizens and showbiz denizens began to notice that there were significant details like photos and captions disappearing from view. Both Paolo and LJ’s Instagram accounts were replete with their photos, either their solo poses or more importantly, their intimate moments together, or with their daughter Summer.
Now, they’re all gone and their followers have kept an eye on them.
Netizen nyetakha stated: “Deleted na din mga pics nio ni paolo..puro kay summer lng natira so sad naman kala nmin forever na kau (Your photos with Paolo are all deleted..all Summer’s are left it’s so sad we thought you’re all forever).”
Another netizen, honeybatino expressed her wonderment: “Bakit po wala ndin ung photos nio sa IG ni kuya pao? I hope ok Lng po kayo. miss npo ang vlog nio with kuya pao and kids (Why are your photos with kuya—address of fondness to an older man but blood or affinity—not in your IG anymore? I miss your vlog with kuya).”
Meanwhile, Contis in his Facebook post pasted a picture of him and daughter Summer with a rant: “I miss you, Ganda (Pretty).”
The statement could mean not only Summer but LJ as well as they had shared a lot of sweet and unforgettable moments together.
Then the movie press started to ask, inquire and wonder as well. Entertainment writer Danny Vibas was inquisitive about the real score between Contis and Reyes as the actor’s manager Lolit Solis clarified that actress Yen Santos wasn’t the cause of her and LJ’s split. According to Lolit, the ex-couple had outgrown themselves.
Days before the official statement of Solis, Reyes was alone with her kids, Aki, her son with actor Paulo Avelino and Summer while they frolicked in a forest-like surroundings.
It should have been the birthday celebration of Aki but it went pfft purportedly because of an unforeseen circumstance.
“Was really looking forward to a different kind of celebration for Aki this time as he turns a year older! Sobrang different nga (It was indeed different)! Walang natuloy sa plano (No plans were realized) because of the weather. But still so grateful for the life given to him and he was able to try to build a small dam to redirect rain waters from mountains and he got to spend the day playing the game he loves! Happiest birthday my Akiboi! Mommy will love you forever and beyond!”
