New Cabuyao City Hospital inaugurated

Cabuyao City Mayor Mel Gecolea said that the opening of the new Cabuyao City Hospital was necessitated by the city's need to beef up its defense against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cabuyeños can now be assured of quality medical treatment within its confines with the opening of the new Cabuyao City Hospital (CCH) today (June 28).

Cabuyao City Mayor Rommel Gecolea, Vice Mayor Leif Opiña, and Ospital ng Cabuyao Chief Dr. Gregorio Fabros led the opening ceremonies of the CCH in Barangay Banay-Banay.

DOH-Calabarzon Regional Chief Dr. Eduardo Janairo, PA Alvarez Properties and Development Corp. chairman Romarico Alvarez of and Senator Francis Tolentino also graced the event.

The new hospital, situated on a one-hectare property donated by PA Alvarez Properties, has an 18-bed capacity with an additional 5-bed intensive care unit and a 10-station dialysis clinic.

The hospital also has a Level 2 Diagnostic X-ray service.

In his speech, Gecolea said that the opening of the new hospital was necessitated by the city's need to beef up its defense against the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said that it is necessary to make services of the hospital available to the Cabuyeños as early as possible, considering that Covid-19 cases are still on the rise in the city.

He also thanked everyone responsible for turning his dream for the city to have a new hospital into reality.
