“Nakaka-bore din pala ang naka-lock in shooting. Kasi, mag-isa lang ako sa loob ng kuwarto ng hotel dito sa Calamba. Naku, nasusukat ko na nang buo itong buong kuwarto sa mga hakbang ko (You know, being in a lock-in shoot can make you bored. It’s because I am alone in my hotel room here in Calamba. Oh! My God I can measure the whole room with my footsteps),” veteran actress Marissa Delgado said chuckling.

Marissa has been shooting for two weeks already the youth-oriented TV show “He’s Into Her” being aired at TV5.

“Ano ito, may comedy, may drama. Malakas itong proramang ito. Ang papel ko rito, lola ni Belle Mariano. Anak ko naman si Janus del Prado (This is comedy with drama. This program is on the ratings chart. I play the grandmother of Belle Mariano. Then, Janus del Prado is my son),” she volunteered.

What is inspiring about Delgado’s work is being able to act with one of today’s hottest male stars Donny Pangilinan—son of broadcaster Anthony Pangilinan and actress Maricel Laxa, daughter of the late action star Tony Ferrer and one of Marissa’s best friends Imelda Ilanan.

“Naku, apo ni Imelda si Donny kaya parang apo ko na rin siya. Enjoy kami sa set (Oh! Donny is Imelda’s grandson therefore, I also consider him a grandson. We are enjoying every minute of it on set),” announced Marissa.

While in lull period, Delgado would just watch TV in her hotel room.

“Ipinadala sa akin ni Avon (Garcia, Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 1987) ang tablet para raw maaliw ako (My daughter Avon sent me the tablet so that I would be entertained while taping),” exclaimed the award-winning actress. “Mahirap ang lock-in. Maraming COVID-19 tests. Buti na lang at maganda rito sa Calamba (Lock-in is hard. Lots of tests. It’s good! Calamba is a nice place).”
