What makes Dennis Padilla and Julia Barretto’s bond stronger?

Would you believe it’s Laguna Province?

Yes, dear reader.

It’s because the father and the daughter share fondness with the idyllic region in CALABARZON. Both of them love nature and the province offers many scenic gifts to their senses that make them more inspired and dreamier of wonderful things to happen for them.

Dennis and Julia are also kindred rooted in the Province of Laguna.

Being Baldivias—the real family of Dennis is Baldivia from Nagcarlan—the two are Lagunenses in every way.

Once the surname was a source of misunderstanding between the dad and the dotter, though. It was when Marjorie Barretto had thought of renaming her daughter with just that, Barretto sidestepping the filial and paternal rights of Dennis.

But the issue was cleared, bridged and had passed troubled waters.

Dennis and Julia knew no animosity because they believe the natural bond existed between them and no human factors can take that away even if they were emotionally affected by people’s reactions about their arrangement as kin.

“Nagsisimula muli kami ni Julia. Madali lang naman ‘yon (Julia and I are starting all over again. That’s easy, after all),” said Padilla.

So with Julia who can’t wait anymore to pay Laguna a visit one of these days because of its cool weather and beautiful gifts of nature like mountains, rivers, hills, valleys, plants, animals etc.
