The livelihood assistance packages amounting to P15,000 were given to beneficiaries for them to start their own businesses for them to recover from the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

FULLY aware of the hardships of many residents mainly because of the challenges being posed by the lingering pandemic, the provincial government of Laguna is continuing its distribution of livelihood assistance packages to select beneficiaries in the province.

In a Facebook post, Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez said 32 beneficiaries from the capital Sta. Cruz, 31 each from the towns of Magdalena, Paete, Kalayaan and Luisiana; and 21 from the town of Pakil, were granted financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development totaling P6.6 million.

The livelihood assistance packages amounting to P15,000 were given to beneficiaries for them to start their own businesses, as a way for them to recover from the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The governor also promised to continue delivering financial assistance to Lagunenses who continue to suffer from the effects of the pandemic.
