A lone bettor from Calamba City, Laguna became a millionaire overnight after winning the P54.4-million jackpot prize in Wednesday night's (June 30) Mega Lotto 6/45 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Thursday.
In an advisory, PCSO general manager Royina Garma said the bettor guessed the winning combination 14-25-09-15-06-16.
Meanwhile, 63 bettors won second prize and will each receive P32,000 for correctly guessing five numbers out of the six-digit winning combination, while 2,372 bettors won third prize with P1,000 each and 34,911 bettors won the fourth prize with P30 each.
The MegaLotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
This is the fifth time for the month of June when a lone bettor bagged the Lotto jackpot.
During the draw on June 22, a lone bettor, from Samar province, bagged the P49.5-million jackpot prize of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw while on June 19, another lone bettor from Nueva Ecija won the P15.4-million regular Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize.
A lone bettor from Baguio City bagged the P29.7-million jackpot on June 7 in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw while on June 5, a bettor from Rizal province bagged the P10-million jackpot prize draw of the Regular Lotto 6/42. (ONT/With report from PNA)
