The exact date and venue of their wedding weren’t publicly displayed much more the cues and clues that went with them so actress Glaiza de Castro was hesitant to go on and announce that she and British fiancé David Rainey had finally settled down.
Until some of Glaiza’s kith and kin suggested that she might as well post some of the wonderful shots of her tying the knot with David at the Dunluce Castle in the United Kingdom.
Or we surmised that de Castro’s not publicly spilling the beans of her wedding was deliberately done not to jeopardize and even preempt the preparation of her Sparkle GMA Artists Center and Jessica Soho’s coverage of the event for her Sunday show, both entities Glaiza gave her trust and support which were evident in her social media posts.
Immediately after the garden or valley wedding pictures of the newly-weds circulated in the cyber world, many ladies and even gentlemen not only from showbiz but in the entire Laguna Province were mesmerized by them. Not only were Chariz Solomon, Lovi Poe, Marian Rivera, Rayver Cruz, Aicelle Santos, Bugoy Drilon, Chyna Ortaleza, IC Mendoza, Gabby Eigenmann, Gabbi Garcia etc. got excited and happy for their colleague at GMA Network but some Lagunenses as well. One girl from San Pablo City who didn’t want identified was fantasizing she’s got the same matrimony as Glaiza not only in dreams but in reality. A San Pedro woman named Elma Viñas was envious of the love and romance de Castro and Rainey were showering with each other. A Lucban, Quezon lady, Maria Racelis, who’s always in Luisiana was rooting for Glaiza and David.
Meanwhile, de Castro was realistic about her settling down with David, a foreigner. She laid down the realities of her marriage with Rainey.
“It wasn’t easy for us, much like every relationship. We all have our own pattern and design. Marriage isn’t our end goal, it’s just a part of what’s to come,” opined Glaiza.
At the moment, the couple who is now officially Raineys are back in their love nest in Baler, Aurora where they are improving the interior design of their house.
