The local government unit of Cabuyao City, Laguna sees more employment opportunities with the soon-to-rise Provincial Office of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in this city.
Cabuyao City Mayor Mel Gecolea and CSC Chairperson Alicia Dela Rosa-Bala led the signing of the usufruct agreement for the construction of the provincial office of the CSC inside the Cabuyao Enterprise Park Wednesday (January 26).
The building, which will be constructed on a 600-square meter property loaned by the city government of Cabuyao inside the Enterprise Park, will be built using the funds of the CSC and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
“Ito po ay magbubukas din ng mga oportunidad sa trabaho para sa ating mga kababayan at mas mapapalapit at mapapabilis ang mga proseso kaugnay sa Civil Service Commision para sa ating mga kababayan,” Gecolea said in his Facebook page.
The Cabuyao Enterprise Park is a 250-hectare commercial/industrial/residential hub currently being developed by the city government in Barangay Banay-banay.
According to the Cabuyao LGU, the complex will house various facilities of the city government including the Cabuyao Athletes Basic School (CABS), Cabuyao Institute of Technology (CITECH), Tanghalang Kabuyaw, and the Cabuyao Malasakit Village. It is also expected to house various offices of the provincial government.
“Isa po ito sa ating mga pangarap sa ating lungsod: ang pagkakaroon ng mga provincial at regional office partikular sa ating Enterprise Park bilang bahagi ng ating adhikain na Enterprising Cabuyao nang sa ganoon magkaroon ng mas maraming oportunidad sa trabaho at mas mapabilis ang transaksiyon ng ating mga kababayan sa mga tanggapang pampamahalaan,” the city mayor added.
