At least eleven business establishments in San Pedro City, Laguna are now certified as “safe” by the Department of Trade and Industry for complying with health protocols.

Eleven business establishments in San Pedro City, Laguna have been awarded the "Safety Seal" Certification by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in coordination with the city government of San Pedro.

San Pedro City Administrator Engr. Filemon Sibulo, Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) OIC Elsa Santos, DTI Provincial Director Clarke Nebrao, and other local officials led the distribution of the "Safety Seal" certificates in a ceremony held at Robinsons Galleria South Mall last July 2.

The "Safety Seal" is a certification awarded by the DTI to establishments who are found to have complied with health protocols to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.

It is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with StaySafe.ph.
