After the storm the sun shines.

Actress and Provincial Board Member of the 3rd District of Laguna Angelica Jones is on her public service path anew after recuperating from infection of the deadly COVID-19 a couple of months ago.

Angelica’s mom, Beth Jones, who was struck heavily by the new coronavirus, is also on track to help her daughter in her showbiz and political activities.

The younger Jones recently led the induction to office of the officials and members of the STK Toda San Pablo City.

According to Angie, Jones’ pet name, she was excited to swear in the new officers of the STK Toda Housing project which is a major program of the Laguna Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Governor Ramil Hernandez.

“Ang inyong lingkod Board Member Angelica ay naging saksi Comelec Chair sa election. Dahil naging masaya election namahagi po ako ng food packs, hand soap and merienda (You humble servant was witnessed as Comelec Chair in the election. Because the event was fun, I distributed food packs, hand soap and refreshment).

“Nagpapasalamat po kami kay Mr. Herwin Santos and officers ng SPCVF sa pagpapagamit ng magandang office bldg nila (I would like to thank them for the use of their beautiful place),” stated Angelica in her social media spaces.

According to Jones, the event was attended by various sectoral presidents of organizations of the local transport industry in the city.

Also present during the election and oath-taking were STK Provincial Pres. Ellen A. and Toda President Lito A. Phudo, Jerry Desquitado and a certain Engr. Jun.

It was a nice reappearance of Angelica in the political limelight in San Pablo City after harrowing experiences she and her family had gone through in these trying times of COVID-19 global pest.
