It’s a case of “he said, she said” revelations although “he” has a mouthful.
This brouhaha between former lovers Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla.
When the couple broke up last April, it was Kylie’s dad Robin Padilla who spilled the beans.
Now, the split-up story has spawned several subplots.
It all started when a news item recently came out in multimedia dragging the name of Aljur with newbie sex symbol AJ Raval who has a movie with him.
According to the grapevine, Abrenica and AJ are dancing to sweet music together which the latter vehemently denied.
Aljur got the lion’s share of bad public opinion because he was bashed in social media as an infidel.
In no time at all, he aired his side of the controversy by posting on Facebook his thoughts and version of his truths.
He said that Padilla should tell the truth about the real cause of their separation.
“Kylie please tell them the truth. Don’t hide and disguise your comments, statement for your self-gain. Tell them who cheated first. Tell them who wrecked our family. Tell them why I gave up on you not on our family. The people deserves (sic) to know,” said Aljur.
He emphasized that the public has the right to speak up about the issue painting him as the culprit but he understood it for the family.
“I have no hate for them despite of all the attacks and accusation they have towards me. I do appreciate their reactions because I know it comes from their genuine morality and support towards our family. So they also deserve to know the truth,” he continued.
Aljur stressed it was Kylie who broke their pact of not divulging to the public the real root of their split.
“I am sorry for asking these questions and for breaking our agreement of not speaking to the public. When your dad (Robin) opened to the public his one sided story. I maintained my silence because of our agreement. But now that people who supports us still throw accusations and reading you’re statements it breaks my heart that you can sit still despite of the truth. Tell them who cheated first. Tell them who are you with right now. Have the courage to settle this,” Abrenica dared Kylie.
“Tell your dad the truth. If not for them do it for our children. After so many years will you allow our children let them believe this story that you and dad left for me? At first it was fair for me, to take all the blame. Is it also fine with you guys to let the innocent be attacked with false accusations?” he challenged his ex.
Meanwhile, the lady Padilla simply noted in her IG this line: “Never underestimate a man’s ability to make you feel guilty for his mistakes.”
To make the whole narrative more intriguing, a certain Princess Paulino defended Kylie by saying that the latter didn’t commit unfaithfulness against Aljur but instead it’s the actor who made the fax paus by displaying AJ in public.
When I talked to awarded character actress Odette Khan early last week, she said she was shocked to know that Abrenica has a wife apart from Kylie, an angle worth an investigation.
Who’s telling the truth?
