THE revelation recently made by action superhero Dan Alvaro that he has just married a lady from Guiguinto, Bulacan had created ripples not only among his kith and kin but colleagues in showbiz as well.
The news stirred even ordinary folks and his fans most especially among residents of Biñan City particularly in Barangay de la Paz where the family of Dan’s ex-girlfriend is based.
Most of the people in Biñan were intrigued by the new developments in the actor’s romance because they thought their kababayans in the city were the exclusive family of Alvaro.
It turned out that there are other families Dan has been tending and a new woman in his life has opened up in public.
Dan, Rolando Galura in life, got married with Eileen Cardenas in a Christian wedding at a church in Valenzuela City.
Of all his women, Alvaro finally settled with Eileen and promised to stay with her the rest of his life.
During the revelation, I asked Dan if I could get the side or the sentiments of his ex-flame and children in Biñan.
He said that he has no worries about his three kids with his ex-gf. “Wala namang problema sa mga anak ko ro’n. Kilala naman nila ako (There’s no problem with my children. They know me),” intimated Dan as if saying his kids love and understand him so much.
When I became insistent that I get the other side of the story from the Galuras of Biñan, Dan was initially open but after a few moments, he changed his mind and just simply replied:
“Boy, ang advice ko lang, wag na kaya natin silang guluhin kasi tahimik na sila (My advice is we don’t get them into trouble because they are already at peace with themselves).”
