Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez has congratulated provincial employees who ensured that students will still receive their grants in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic despite working in a limited number.
THE Laguna Provincial Government's "Iskolar ng Laguna" program has given out financial assistance to almost ten thousand students from January to June of 2021.
"Umabot sa 10,284 na mga iskolar ang nabigyan ng scholarship grants na inaasahan nating magiging malaking tulong na pangtustos sa kanilang pag-aaral," Laguna governor Ramil Hernandez said in a statement Thursday.
Hernandez also congratulated provincial employees who ensured that students will still receive their grants in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Lubos din ang ating pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga kawani na naging bahagi ng programang ito, sa kanilang sipag at tiyaga upang maging maayos, organisado at siguruhing ligtas ang ginanap na distribusyon," he said.
"Hindi po ito naging madali lalo sa panahon natin ngayon, kaya naman saludo tayo sa kanilang dedikasyon para patuloy na makapagbigay ng Serbisyong Tama."
Hernandez also assured students under the program that the provincial government will continue to deliver its promise to help them in their studies as the country gradually recovers from the pandemic.
"Sa ating mga Iskolar, ipagpatuloy ninyo ang pagsisikap at pag-aaral ng mabuti para sa ikagaganda ng inyong kinabukasan at sa pagtupad ng inyong mga pangarap," he added.
