“Don’t Go Changing” is a song that embraces truth towards life’s many mysteries, tough love in particular, according to singer Ylona Garcia.

MISSING the Philippines too much? True to her Filipino roots, Ylona Garcia filled her new music video with uniquely Filipino items such as Jollibee, Milo, and SkyFlakes for her single ‘Don’t Go Changing’.

The 19-year old Filipina continues to make waves in her international music career under music label Paradise Rising, the record label that Globe Telecom and US-based music company 88rising launched to help South East Asian artists, including Filipino artists, enjoy international success.

The R&B ballad ‘Don't Go Changing’ is about grief through different stages of letting go. Garcia released her newest single last September 14 along with the music video.

She teamed up with industry veterans Jonas Jeberg and Marcus Lomax, who had previously worked with the pop superstars such as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, respectively, on the single.

“‘Don’t Go Changing’ is a song that embraces truth towards life’s many mysteries, tough love in particular,” Garcia said in a statement.

The “Don’t Go Changing” music video (MV) is the first one from 88rising that was filmed with their partner Samsung for their #withGalaxy series.

‘Don’t Go Changing’ is the first released track that is a part of the “Head in The Clouds 3” visual album that will showcase a number of its artists and feature their fans.

This is her sophomore single under Paradise Rising after signing with the Asian-American music label. She first debuted with Paradise Rising with the single ‘All That’ last February. Paradise Rising is known for their unmatched marketing strategy for their artists.

88rising is the Asian- and Asian American-focused music label that created the album soundtrack for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” the latest blockbuster from Marvel Studios and the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to star an Asian superhero. 88rising as a whole media media company is a cultural trailblazer for this current generation.
