Peppa Pig, a hit cartoon character, took a jab at musician Ye – and the ratings of his new album, “Donda” – via Twitter.

Popular personalities are always the target of online trolls as we see so much on a daily basis.

Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) was not an exception as an unexpected famous personality took a hit on his brand-new released album ‘DONDA’.

‘Ye released his 10th studio album “DONDA” last Sunday which featured superstar artists contributions from JAY-Z, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, Baby Keem, Vory, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch and the late Pop Smoke. (See also: YE Drops Long Delayed Album ‘DONDA’

However, in a strange plot twist, the mixed-received album took a blow from a fellow artist in the name of Peppa Pig.

Peppa Pig, a hit cartoon character, joined the conversation by taking a jab at Ye via Twitter with “Peppa didn’t need to host listening parties in Mercedes-Benz Stadium to get that .5.”

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium listening party refers to the three promotional events held by West to garner hype for the long-awaited record.

What this now-deleted tweet is referring to is the recent buzz that Pitchfork scored Peppa Pig’s sophomore album “Peppa’s Adventures: The Album” 6.5 while they gave DONDA a 6.0 — a whole 0.5 points higher than Ye’s latest album.

Pitchfork is a Condé Nast music publication that gives newly released music 0.0-10 rating scale.

Ye’s ‘DONDA’ was given a 6.0 rating, to which Peppa Pig, a fictional character, had a slightly higher rating.

The 6.0 rating is one of the lowest scores of his career and the author branding the album “barely finished and with a lot of baggage”.

Contributor from Pitchfork Peyton Thomas called Peppa Pig’s album a “charming and self-assured celebration of family, friendship, and muddy puddles.”

Following Donda’s Sunday (August 29) release, Twitter noticed the higher-rated swine — so much so that the official Peppa Pig account joined in on the victory that they couldn’t help but to compare the reviews.

Ye has yet to respond to the mockery of the cartoon character, but maybe that’s because he’s busy working on a Peppa Pig diss track.
