Millions of fans are anticipating the release of the new song, and as always, BTS has done a good job hyping it up despite the pandemic.
SOUTH Korean boyband sensation BTS is back with another all-English track!
On May 18, they released a short black-and-white teaser video featuring its seven members, SUGA, Jin, Jung Kook, j-hope, Jimin, V, and RM.
The video showed the members bobbing their heads to the side in sync with the beat, before suddenly transitioning towards covering their mouths.
It then flashes another clip of fluffy pancakes stacked on top of each other with butter on top, with the song title “Butter” written over it.
Millions of fans are anticipating the release of the new song, and as always, BTS has done a good job hyping it up despite the pandemic.
These past couple of weeks, they have released teaser photos and videos for fans to enjoy.
Now, the song is about to be released and fans can watch its premiere on either May 20, or May 21, depending on your location in the world.
The song will be released on Spotify and Apple Music at 1 PM KST on Friday, May 21, which is exactly 12 NN in the Philippines.
The song is expected to be yet another hit for BTS, as with almost every other single they’ve put out in the past five years.
Fans are currently counting down the days and hours until they can finally hear the newest single.
BTS, short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, has been in the scene since 2013, but they did not have it easy.
In fact, they worked tirelessly for years to prove that they deserved a seat on the table.
True enough, they slowly rose to fame internationally, and this caused more and more people to pay attention to them and their music.
Instead of just speaking solely about love, BTS prides itself on creating relatable lyrics on life, both its good and bad sides.
Through the years, they’ve reflected the idea of loving one’s self through their music, and this message has resonated with millions around the world.
Now, BTS’ fanbase crosses borders and age groups, capturing the hearts of even older target markets such as moms and professionals in their 40s-60s.
Thanks to their message of love, hope, and happiness, they’ve become one of the world’s most influential people, and they are not even at the peak of their success just yet. (MO)
