In the wake of the Sam Milby-Catriona Gray breakup which was made official with the release of his statement regarding his romance status with Catriona, the fiance has denied the involvement of singer Moira de la Torre in the fiasco.
Sam and Catriona were engaged in 2023.
"Don't believe everything you see and read on the internet," said Sam.
He said that Moira has nothing to do with his split from Catriona.
But he clarified that he doesn't want to talk about de la Torre although they were indeed friends before.
These days, though, Milby intriguingly said that it's not encouraging to talk about the singer.
Based on some reports, Sam and Moira have some kinks to straighten out.
All this information was disclosed by the Kapamilya actor during the press conference of the ABS-CBN TV series "Saving Grace" recently.
In the press confab, the actor was asked by a movie journalist if he and Catriona are still together.
Sam replied in the negative.
After the revelation, naturally, the cause or causes of the split were dug in.
"There was no third party involved," clarified Milby.
At the moment, Catriona has yet to state her thoughts on the matter.
There is a new angle in the Sam-Cat narrative.
It is dragging the name of the former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson in the controversy.
Why is Chavit being linked to the Sam-Catriona breakup?
Is he the third party?
Talks are spreading like wildfire that Singson is playing sweet music with the 2018 Miss Universe.
"No. Chavit and Catriona have no romantic relations. That's definitely not true," clarified promptly by Ruth Fariñas, Chief of Staff of Atty. Richelle Singson of the Ako Ilocano party-list.
"Just because Catriona was seen during the election campaign of Manong Chavit, endorsing him for senator, does not mean they are on," Ruth said.
