AFTER nine years of diligence, hard work and perseverance, Vince Rillon has finally achieved the goals he has been aiming for.

Immediately after the 2021 Tokyo International Film Festival where his film “Resbak,” retitled “Payback” was screened and got critical reviews as well as the 2021 Busan International Film Festival where the film “Gensan Punch” where he was featured won the Kim Jiseok Award, there’s no stopping the roll for Vince.

In 2022, his six films, namely “Siklo,” “Iskandalo,” “L,” “Bigwas,” “Sisid” and “Pula,” most of them produced by Viva Films will be shown one after the other as early as January next year.

“Talaga pong nagsikap ako para makagawa ako ng mga bida roles. Malaking tulong po sa akin ang makasama ang mga sikat at magagaling na artista like Shogen of Okinawa, Japan para sa ‘Gensan Punch’ at sina Derek Ramsay sa ‘Amo’ at si Coco Martin sa ‘Ang Probinsiyano at marami pa po (I really tried hard to be able to do lead roles. My acting with popular and competent actors helped me achieved these goals),’” said Rillon in an exclusive interview.

Vince, aside from being directed by Brillante Ma. Mendoza (“Captive,” “Mindanao,” “Resbak,” “Gensan Punch” etc., Roman Perez (“Siklo,” “Iskandalo,” “L” and “Bagwis”). Zig Dulay (“Bagahe”), will be under again the tutelage of Joel Lamangan (“Rainbow’s Sunset”) and of Louis Igancio and Adolf Alix, Jr. for the first time in 2022.
