No matter how hard she took care of herself to avoid any contagion she was still stricken with the deadly COVID-19 virus.
This was disclosed by Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos in her special social media announcement Wednesday morning.
“Alam ko na hinanap ninyo ako (I know you were looking for me) lately,” said Vilma in her Facebook live.
“I’ll be frank, nadale po ako ng (I’d be frank, I was down with) COVID,” she announced very emphatically with a smile.
“Kahit na po nag-ingat ako, nadale pa rin ako ng (Even if I was very careful, I was still stricken with) COVID,” Santos quipped.
“Bale negative na po ako pero may mga (I am already negative but I had) complications like I had asthma attack and a fluctuating blood pressure,” explained Vi.
The former politician reiterated that the people shouldn’t be complacent about the health situation brought about by the pandemic because COVID-19 is still around.
The actress encouraged the general public to be cautious about the health emergency anytime, anywhere as she sent her love to all her fans, followers and the entire nationhood.
