Until her death Thursday night due to health complications, the veteran actress was a picture of a decorated Filipino actress who had weathered the test of time in portraying diverse characters with gusto.
Angie passed on peacefully with her immediate family around.
Angie's remains lie in state at the St. Peter Chapel in Quezon Avenue in Quezon City.
Angie will be cremated on Tuesday, August 22.
She was 86.
