Action director and barangay chairman Toto Natividad succumbed today to Covid-19, a week after he was rushed to hospital.
THE Covid-19 virus has claimed yet another pillar of the Philippine entertainment industry.
Action director Toto Natividad (Federico Natividad in real life) passed away today (April 27) after contracting the virus.
Toto was rushed last week to several hospitals in Metro Manila but they were all packed until he was finally admitted instead in a hospital in Pampanga.
Nahihirapan po kami ngayon makahanap ng ospital dahil puno po lahat. baka po makahingi ng tulong niyo (I am humbly seeking your help for my dad who must be confined in a hospital but we find it hard to find one because all are fully booked. Maybe we can ask your help),” pleaded his son John Isaac Natividad.
During Natividad’s confinement, his family sought financial assistance from friends, colleagues and sympathizers.
Toto died in the line of service as the Barangay Chairman of NBBS (North Bay Boulevard South) Kaunlaran in Navotas City.
Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco has sent his sympathies to one of his community leaders.
Natividad was famous for his films like Phillip Salvador’s “Ka Hector,” Edu Manzano’s “Costales,” Cesar Montano’s “Utol,” and TV shows “Ang Probinsiyano,” “Cain at Abel,” “Resbak,” and "Galema: Anak ni Zuma."
