Hit Korean show “Running Man” is coming to the Philippines.

Hit Korean reality variety show “Running Man” is set to air in the Philippines and will be produced by GMA-7.

Last week, GMA Network officially unveiled the social media channels of “Running Man Philippines.”

“Don't walk, RUN! Because the phenomenal reality game show #RunningManPH is here!"

The highly- anticipated star- studded cast will be revealed this Friday, May 27, exclusively on the news show “24 Oras.” The show is poised to feature Filipino artists and celebrities enjoying the dynamics of the popular game show.

The cast allegedly includes an actor/TV host who also hosts other programs. Also included is the great actress who is nearing the end of the starring drama series.

Other speculations include an actress from a reality search, a comedian who is also part of an upcoming drama series, an actor who famously- starred in a Pinoy BL series, an actress who was given a break by the Kapuso network, and the hunk actor who stars in a drama series.

"Running Man" debuted in 2010 in South Korea. The show currently stars Yoo Jae-Suk, Jee Seok-Jin, Kim Jong-Kook, Haha, Song Ji-Hyo, Jeon So-min and Yang Se-Chan. It is currently one of the most popular shows in South Korea and has a growing fan base in the Philippines. This reality-variety show of South Korea is famous for its comedy, which is something that most Kapuso stars have for their sense of humor.

SBS, the broadcasting company of “Running Man” in Korea, earlier granted franchises to produce Running Man in Vietnam and China. The same network was behind TV series such as "My Love from the Star," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," and "While You Were Sleeping."

In February 2020, it was first reported that the show will officially land in the Philippines. SBS and GMA Network signed a contract for the co-production of “Running Man Philippines.”

During the contract signing, it was revealed that the reality show would feature Filipino artists and incorporate local culture.
